Meet the People Behind Our Mobile Veterinary Service in Northwest Ohio
Dr. Alison Oliver | Founder and Veterinarian

For Dr. Alison Oliver, veterinary medicine has always been part of her life.
As the daughter of a veterinarian, she grew up accompanying her father on farm calls, helping around the clinic and witnessing firsthand the important relationships veterinarians build with animals and their owners.
Dr. Oliver earned her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Michigan State University before spending three years conducting research at the National Institutes of Health. She later earned her veterinary degree from the Virginia Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine.
Her professional experience includes mixed animal practice, equine reproductive medicine and leadership within the veterinary community.
In 2015, Dr. Oliver founded Oliver Mobile Veterinary Service with a vision of bringing high-quality, personalized veterinary care directly to her patients. By offering mobile veterinary services, she could provide care in a familiar environment while developing meaningful relationships with the families she serves.
Today, Dr. Oliver provides veterinary care for small animals and horses throughout Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan.
Outside of veterinary medicine, she enjoys life on a small farm with her husband, three daughters and their animals, including dogs, a cat, horses, bunnies and chickens.

A Team Dedicated to Personalized Veterinary Care
One of the things that makes Oliver Mobile Veterinary Service special is the variety of experience our team brings to each appointment.
Our backgrounds include small animal medicine, equine care, veterinary nursing, animal husbandry and practice management. Together, we share a commitment to helping animals receive the attention and care they deserve.
Why choose mobile veterinary care?
For many animals, receiving veterinary care at home can reduce the stress associated with traveling to a clinic. Mobile veterinary visits can be especially helpful for senior pets, animals that experience anxiety during travel, households with multiple pets and owners who appreciate the convenience of at-home appointments.
Our goal is to provide thoughtful, individualized care while building lasting relationships with the people and animals we serve.
